What
are the fundamental reasons for organizing these championships?
The Saxonian Association for Motorsports (Sächsische
Landesfachverband Motorsport e.V. / SLM) is a founding member
of the German Federation
for Motorsports (Deutscher Motorsport Bund e.V / DMSB).
A
few remarks regarding the objective of the DMSB:
The DMSB was founded on June 8, 1997 in Frankfurt by its sponsoring
associations ADAC, AvD, DMV and by several regional motorsports
associations.
The DMSB is the ruling body for car and motorcycle racing in
Germany and represents the interests of German motorsports
in the international federations of FIA, FIM and UEM.
The DMSB upholds the interests of its organizational members
and the individuals they represent, in state and society, in
national sports organizations, especially in the German Sports
Federation (Deutscher Sportbund / DSB) and in media and business
relations.
The DMSB controls the implementation of motorsports in the
entire Federal Republic of Germany according to standard rules.
The DMSB serves exclusively and directly common and public
ends. The DMSB is a non-profit organization. Independent economical
activities, which are necessary to serve the objective of the
Federation, are subordinated to the idealistic end of promoting
motorsports.
Reason
for this Explanation:
In our event description only those events are listed that
conform and are implemented according to the rules of the DMSB.
The criteria for the selection of events is their geographical
proximity to the Free State of Saxony.
The
Scoring:
The scoring will be extracted from the day’s results
in the championships’ classes 1 to 7, in the cups’ classes
11 to 15 and in the seniors’ class.
This means: being on place number 5 in the day’s result,
but being at the same time the best rider, who is registered
for the Saxonian Championships, means twenty points (= unofficial
first place in the classification of the Saxonian Championships.)
